Neurodivergent-friendly Nutrition Strategies for Perimenopause, Part 2: Chronic Disease in the Menopause Transition

Details: During this webinar we discussed how perimenopause can look and feel different for women with autism and ADHD. We also explored how neurodivergent women are disproportionately affected by complex or chronic conditions, such as POTS, mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS), gut issues and others, and outlined nutrition and lifestyle strategies that can help reduce and manage symptoms. The underlying theme of this conversation was that neurodivergent women may have different, more intense or earlier symptoms and challenges in perimenopause and may require additional supports during this time of life.
